Share your content, 10 ways to quickly and easily do it!
Today I’m going to share with you 10 ways to quickly and easily share your content with your audience.
Someone once said, “Content is KING but marketing is the queen and she runs the show”. It’s all good and
well creating a piece of content but if you can’t get it out to your audience then obviously, that’s not good at all.
Read on to see my 10 quick steps I personally use to easily share content with my followers.
Step 1: Create Your Content / Article / Product On Your Website.
In the first step, you’re going to CREATE YOUR CONTENT. This could be in the form of an article, press release, blog or even something like a white paper. It could also be a video, advert, image or even a product page. You’re then going to publish it which you could do on your website, blog or social media profile to just name a few.
Step 2: Share Your Content LINK Onto Your Facebook Business Page & Personal Profile.
This is a super simple step & definitely, one of the first things you’re going to need to do. Simply start sharing it out to your audience. Facebook is one of the easiest to share too. Simply copy and paste the URL / link onto your Facebook business page as well as onto your personal profile page.
Step 3: Send Your Content Out In Your Newsletter.
It’s a fact that Email is better than Facebook. On average we see Facebook Pages posts reach from 1% to 15% of followers. However, with email, we see anything from 25% to 50% of emails being opened by subscribers.
So what you need to do is publish your content in a newsletter and send it out to your subscribers ASAP. If you haven’t already started a newsletter subscription list, what are you waiting for? If its a product you’re trying to sell add a link, image or video review of your product into your newsletter. If it’s simply a piece of writing you’re trying to get people to read just add the first paragraph to your email then entice people to Read More of the article by linking it back to your website. Its a tried and tested method of driving traffic to your site.
Step 4: Find & Share Your Content Into A FaceBook Group.
Facebook groups can be very powerful. A Facebook group is a community page where people come together to discuss a unified topic. I subscribe to a group called ( Trail & Ultra Running ). The group has over 10 000 members who are mostly very active.
Find a few groups that are in line with your topic, genre or industry and see if they will from time to time allow you to share your product. In some cases, you may have to be creative in how you do it so that the admins don’t feel you are spamming its members and they block you.
Facebook groups, however, are a great way to introduce your product to a new audience, gain more followers & get more customers for FREE.
Step 5: Share Your Content Onto Your LinkedIn Profile.
LinkedIn even though it may not appear so is a social media platform and you can create and share content on it. The best part of it is that you already know or are familiar with everyone linked to you on the platform. That means you probably have already gained their trust. Share your content, product or ideas on LinkedIn, who knows, you may just find a new customer.
Step 6: Create An Instagram Graphic Highlighting Your Post.
You’ve heard it said many times before. A picture is worth a thousand words. Create remarkable images about your product, idea or content and share it on Instagram. Instagram is one of the biggest social media platforms in the world and gets an amazing amount of engagement.
Step 7: Create A YouTube Video With A Similar Theme As Your Content.
Youtube is an excellent place to share content to. Product reviews are the best way to get your product information out there. Youtube is also the 2nd biggest search engine in the world behind Google. Part of showing the world you are a thought leader and the industry expert in our product field is creating compelling videos showing off your product or skills.
Step 8: Share Your Content Onto Twitter.
This next step is about as simple as it gets. Just share your content, video or product on to Twitter but be sure to master #Hashtags. Hashtags are a way of filing your tweet into a specific category. The same is true for Instagram. users to clear up the clutter of Instagram and Twitter will search for specific tags. Examples could be #running #trailrunning #trailrunningshoes #seattlerunning etc. If you’ve used these tags wisely your results could easily show up at the top of their feed.
Step 9: Do A Short Instagram LIVE Video.
Video on social media is huge right now & will be for years to come. Live video has a 148% higher engagement rate than traditional posts.
Instagram Stories is a feature that lets users post photos and videos that vanish after 24 hours. Like Snapchat, the photos and videos shared in your Instagram Story are ephemeral and can’t be viewed once 24 hours have elapsed. So this is a great way to share short bursts of information to viewers and grab their attention.
Step 10: Do A FaceBook LIVE Video.
There are many reasons why Facebook Live is incredibly powerful. You can create and share 100% completely unique content with your viewers like product updates, new blog posts etc. It costs you absolutely nothing to share. It can create hype around your product or service and allows you to connect directly with your audience and community.
Audiences consume information in many different formats. Covering this simple list regularly will make sure you get to them wherever they are.
